Ways to get involved

Curiosity grows when people share what they have.

Project Curiosity is built around a simple idea: our community already has incredible people, skills, knowledge, resources, and experiences. we just need opportunities to bring them together.

Teach or Share a Skill

Know something interesting? We want to hear about it!

You don’t have to be a professional educator. If you have a skill, hobby, career, or area of knowledge that children could learn from, we would love to explore ways for you to share it.

Science, art, cooking, gardening, technology, trades, music, history, nature, careers, crafts—curiosity can start anywhere.

Volunteer

Sometimes we just need extra hands.

Volunteers may help with activities, events, setup and cleanup, organizing supplies, special projects, community service opportunities, or other needs as Project Curiosity grows.

You can volunteer once, occasionally, or whenever something comes up that interests you.

Donate Supplies or Resources

Not every contribution has to be money.

Craft supplies, science materials, books, snacks, printing, event supplies, meeting space, equipment, and other resources can help us provide more opportunities for local families while keeping activities affordable and accessible.

Businesses & Community Organizations

Local businesses and organizations can make a huge difference.

There are many ways to partner with Project Curiosity, from hosting a group or providing educational experiences to donating supplies, sponsoring an activity, sharing professional knowledge, or helping us connect with other community resources.

Families Can Help, Too!

Project Curiosity isn’t something we simply want families to attend we want families to help shape it.

Suggest an activity. Plan a get-together. Share something you know. Tell us about a great field trip. Help at an event. Introduce us to someone in the community.

You don’t have to do everything. Just bring what you can.

Have another idea?

If you’re thinking, “I could help, but I’m not sure where I fit,” reach out anyway.

Some of the best opportunities start with someone simply saying, “Hey, I have an idea.”
